Cancellations
If the races are cancelled due to changes in COVID-19 protocols or environmental issues – registrations will be forwarded to the 2024 event or refunds made.

During the registration process on our registration page, you'll have an opportunity to select the optional RegShield policy. We are not able to offer any refunds other than through this program.

RegShield is an optional registration reimbursement program that provides registered participants protection for otherwise non-refundable registration expenses if they are unable to participate due to specific unforeseen events such as injury, illness, or other specific qualified items.

The program is administered by a third party, Markel Insurance Company, Ten Parkway North, Deerfield, Illinois 60015, (800) 431-1270.

Visit this page to for complete terms of service, and this page to file a claim.

Strollers
Strollers are welcome. However, please be aware that almost the entire course is packed dirt/gravel vineyard roads. They're super smooth by trail running standards, but definitely not as smooth as a sidewalk or asphalt road. The roads are reasonably wide enough for cars and trucks to work the vineyards, but please careful and courteous since you'll be a larger profile on the course. It would be best to start towards the back of the pack so that you don't inadvertently block speedier runners.

Details and First Aid Info
Headphones are allowed but you must keep them at a volume that does not distract you and allows you to hear directions and commands. Limited basic first aid supplies will be available at designated aid stations along the course. You are responsible for finishing the race. If you are injured or feel you are unable to finish, inform the volunteers at the nearest aid station. Volunteers will be available on a very limited basis to help you return to the finish. We will attempt to accommodate you, but are unable to provide emergency medical services. It is recommended that you carry your cell phone with an ICE phone number in case of emergency.
