Did You Know….Each year the Shasta Mud Run attracts 1,500 β 2,000 participants and keeps growing. This is a fantastic event for businesses to not only support a worthy cause but have the opportunity to showcase their goods and services to race participants and the hundreds of spectators that attend. The energy is high, the music is rocking and everyone is there having a great time! Youth Options Shasta is a 501c3 nonprofit that manages several essential programs serving youth in Shasta County including, Youth Peer Court, Mentoring, Youth Fire Prevention and Intervention, Youth Action Council (YAC) and Shasta Youth Leadership Camp (SYLC). We are in need of an army of volunteers to help us pre event with set up and also tear down! There are many different volunteer opportunities and schedules to choose from! This event operates solely on our love for the community and to raise funds for Youth Options Shasta so we can continue our mission of helping young adults in Shasta County. ![]()

We could not do this event year after year without your help! ![]()

All volunteers that help pre/post event get FREE entry into the race, and also get to run for FREE during our volunteer time! Additionally you will get some amazing lunch provided by Goodtimes Pizza and Things![]()
